Southern Controls, Inc. began with just two men and a very small facility in Montgomery, AL in 1974. Since that time, the company has grown to seven locations and over one hundred employees. With the corporate office in Montgomery and branch locations in Bessemer, Decatur, Mobile, Auburn, Smyrna, and Baton Rouge we are in a position to serve a wide and varied customer base. Motor controls and sensors have always been our core business, and in recent years we have added more technically advanced offerings, including power distribution products, to our line list.

Our People
Company wide, we employ over 100 people, including over 35 inside sales men and women available to quote prices and take your order in a courteous and professional manner over the phone. We also staff a technical team in each location to help with the more complex projects. Southern Controls also has a team of over 15 outside sales men and women, so we always have someone who knows our products and can come to you and help you with your projects. At the end of the day, it's the people at Southern Controls that makes us special and we believe our ability to work together as a team to solve your problems is what sets us apart from the competition. Many of us have made a career here at Southern Controls; several have been on staff for over 25 years and even more have been with us for more than 15 years. We are friends, family, and coworkers that take pride in our work and want to do everything we can to lighten your load and make your life a little bit easier!
